Our Vision and Mission

Our Vision

By God’s grace and blessing, we envision and work toward being a dynamic congregation of God’s people growing in grace, witness, and Christian fellowship, impacting Cape Cod for the sake of Christ with the message of His glorious gospel of grace and forgiveness.

Our Mission

Our mission therefore is to advance God’s kingdom by receiving and loving those whom He calls into our covenant family through the proclamation of the saving and sanctifying work of Christ in His life, death, and resurrection.

Summary Statement

Therefore in full dependence upon Christ who is the Head of the Church, the mission of the Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod will be evidenced by first, its faithful declaration, in the hearing of all, the whole counsel of God found in His Word; second, its faithful administration in the name of Christ, of the ordinances which God has entrusted to the Church; and third, its faithful exercise, in submission to Christ, of the authority of Christ in the Church.

It is by this threefold work that we seek to be a standing and unceasing, outward and visible testimony to the glory of Christ’s character and the preciousness of His grace, praying all the while that He may be pleased to use our witness for that work of spiritual recovery and redemption, by which He infallibly draws all of His people to Himself in salvation. Moreover, flowing from its mission, the Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod seeks to be faithful in communicating the Gospel of Christ and showing the love of Christ to our communities and workplaces, providing in turn a sanctuary where believers may meet and enjoy fellowship with one another as the people of God and worship together in reverence and awe.
